Perfect Nude Nail Varnish!

Recently I decided I needed a new nude nail varnish and was searching for the perfect one to wear. I find nude nail varnishes hard to find because sometimes they are not as opaque as I would like and  they take lots of layers to build up! Also another problem I have with some nude nail varnishes is that they are more pink than nude - this is just a personal preference as I prefer them more nude than pinky-nude!

I was hunting for a new one to try when I saw the Max Factor Glossfinity nail varnish in the colour 'dessert sand' (number 25). In the container the colour of the nail varnish looks a really opaque nude and looked like the colour I wanted. I got the nail varnish and tried it out as soon as I got home. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised because the nail varnish has a really good consistency and was true to the colour it looked in the container. I used about 2-3 coats of it to get a completely opaque finish and I found this was good seeing as I can normally have about 7-8 coats of some colours!! On the container it says it says you can have "glossy nails for up to 7 days" and this seems to be true, I have been wearing this colour for the past 4 days and it doesn't look like it is going to chip soon and the shine of the nail varnish is still there!

Overall, I think this nail varnish is really good, and if you are looking for a new nude nail varnish I would definitely recommend this one. For the price of £5.99 I found this was totally worth getting it and you can pick it up at quite a few stores. I got mine from Boots (link here) but lots of places sell it eg. Superdrug and Tesco, and Max Factor normally have offers on like buy one get one half price so it is definitely worth investing in it!

What are your favourite nude nail varnishes? Let me know!

Autumn Must Have!

Hi!

Sorry I have not posted in a while, everything has been hectic with revising for my AS exams and then the summer and results and then going back to school and starting my A2s, and starting to do my personal statement etc.  However, I am going to try and post a lot more when I am not busy doing school stuff!

Anyway,  sadly the summer is now definitely coming to an end and the cold English weather is coming back! The only good thing that comes from this is that you can buy new coats and jackets!

I was shopping a few weeks ago and found a jacket which I fell in love with! After lots of consideration I decided to order it online because I thought it would be a good buy! It came 3 days later and it is the most amazing jacket ever! It is the ' Brown faux suede fitted biker jacket' from River Island (link here). I found it was quite expensive (£80) but I honestly can say it is worth the money!

The jacket has a faux-fur trim and an asymmetric zip - which gives the jacket a little bit extra! It has fur on the inside and it is so cosy and warm (as it does have fur on the inside I would recommend going up a size due to it being bit snug)! I know this will be an absolute favourite of mine this Autumn! I would highly recommend this if you are thinking of getting a warm jacket for the coming months ahead! However, when it is raining be careful because this can potentially ruin the suede so watch out!
